BECKY IRVIN, PharmD
Dr. Becky Irvin received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. She spent a year at Emory University in an administrative pharmacy residency program. After completing the residency program, she decided she liked working more with patients and physicians than administrators and numbers. This led her to the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she pursued a post graduate two year Doctor of Pharmacy degree. This degree provided her with a more comprehensive knowledge of drug therapies in different disease states and the opportunity to work with physicians on plans of treatment, provide drug information to physicians and patients, monitor drug therapies and do research on different projects. She then completed a 3 year residency/fellowship focusing on researching new drug therapies in patients with cancer. At the same time, she was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Texas College of Pharmacy.
When she moved to Tulsa in 1993, she worked as a part-time pharmacist with Linda and Pati at Health Infusion. She came to enjoy working with them and the cystic fibrosis patients she met while working at Health Infusion. When Linda and Pati conceived of C.F. Solutions, Inc. in 1998, she asked Linda if she could come and work as a part-time pharmacist. Luckily, Linda said yes! She has enjoyed working with the physicians, cystic fibrosis patients and their families.
She is married to Rick Irvin and they have 2 teenage boys, Nathan and Andrew.
